Pro-X Rugby will be taking part in the Vancouver Sevens Invitational in 2025!

​

Our Pro-X Juniors are heading to BC to take on the best of the west in February.

The two-day tournament will take place at UBC’s Gerald McGavin Centre on February 20-21 ahead of the 2025 HSBC SVNS Vancouver.​​

​

Pro-X Rugby will be touring Ontario in 2025!

​

1) Game dates June 21st, 24th, 27th, 30th. For those of you who have exam conflicts, you can miss the 1st game and fly out for the remainder. We did our best to minimize conflicts.

2) Games will be against the Ontario Regional teams. These teams will consist of players in their 1st year of University Rugby, and those who are being recruited

3) We are coordinating to have both USports and NCAA there to recruit the games. We will also have a few of the National coaches in attendance 

4) We have been able to secure a billet place so no cost for lodging

5) In order to participate you need to attend ProX. Stephen is responsible for all player selections and coaching. He will be assisted by Aaron Abrams and Ryan Smith. 

6) We will have a total of 30-35 players from the Calgary area attending

7) If you have any school teammates that may be interested please have them reach out to Stephen Thomas at ProX

8) We will be coordinating day trips to Niagara Falls, CN Tower and Ripley’s 

 

We will work hard over the next few months to try to make this trip as close to cost neutral as possible. Similar to the VSI’s

This session is open to senior women looking to represent Pro-X Rugby Academy in the NRLs International Las Vegas 9's tournament in February 2025.

Session will run every Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from September 30th -  6.30pm to 7.30pm at Pro-X Rugby's private facility, 10 Stonehill Place NE (Hockey Hub/Leeswood Building)

Field sessions will be held in a separate location and confirmed in due course.

New in 24/25

 

This coming offseason we are planning for participants in the Pro-X Rugby program to represent Pro-X teams to play in Vancouver 7s (Feb), Las Vegas 9s (Feb/Mar) and an Ontario tour (May/June).

We will have an online store for training apparel, plus monthly performance rewards from our sponsors.

 

There will also be skills specific sessions running on weekends after Christmas which will be run in conjunction with our partners Nike, under the banner of Nike Sports Camps.

Canada will warm up with a friendly vs Ireland before taking on Papua New Guinea, hosts England, then Brazil in the pool stages, lining up a meeting with New Zealand or current holders Australia should they advance to the knockout stages.

Pro-X Rugby offers schools progrmas that are flexible and based around school times and student availability.

Its a great opportunity for school children to exercise, learn about leadership, teamwork, dicipline and learning new skills.
